Structural for MicroStation TriForma V8 delivers two-way Excel reporting tool for steel projects.
Bentley's newly released Structural for MicroStation TriForma V8 includes a two-way data exchange with Excel spreadsheets exclusively designed for structural steel reporting. All of the new features in Structural for MicroStation TriForma (including pre-cast double-tees, handrails, steel trusses and more) are fully described in the "What's New" document.
Excel Spreadsheet Reports on Structural Steel. Producing an accurate steel quantity take-off is easily accomplished by following the instructions embedded in the spreadsheet itself.

After the report has been produced, the results are clearly presented to the user in both a Detail and Summary worksheet.

The spreadsheet is color-coded to reflect which columns can be input to the model. Columns that contain information read from the model are colored yellow, and cannot be used to update the model. All columns which are colored white can be used to update the model information, including section size, material, grade, status, class, etc.
