F2 Shortcut

To set up the F2 key as a shortcut, select CAD > workspace > Function keys, Highlight F2, and in the Action box type mx focus. Select the OK button. The F2 function is now active; to toggle between MX and CAD.

F3 Shortcut

To setup the F3 key as a shortcut, select CAD > workspace > Function keys, Highlight F3 and in the Action box type MX open_input. Select the OK button. The F3 function is now active; Input open dialogue box

Available MX Commands

From the CAD menu select Utilities > Key-in and Type MX in the Key-in field. A list of available commands is displayed in the centre column.

MS Tooltips on/off

To turn off the CAD tooltips, from the CAD menu select Settings > Snaps > Accusnap. On the panel untick the Pop-up info, Identify Element Automatically and Hilite Active Element. This will not turn off the MX functionality.

Turning Levels on/off

Select CAD > Tools > Primary, the Primary toolbar is displayed. The Level Display icon is not displayed by default, therefore make certain the toggle is set to "CAD" on the status bar. Place the cursor over the toolbar, right mouse click, and select the Level Display entry. This allows features on the display to be turned on and off.

Saved Views

To save different views within a display, select the Saved Views Icon. Either far left icon on the View Toolbar or from the CAD menu select Utilities > Saved Views.

2D Rotate

Select the 2D rotate icon from the View Toolbars, utilise the cursor to position the cross (point of rotation). Left mouse click to rotate the model.

View Toolbox

To turn off the View Toolbar select CAD > Window > View Toolbox. To amend the position of the View Toolbar select CAD > Workspace > Preference's. Under the heading View Options, the tickbox "Show View Toolbox" which is set to Top by default dictates the position of the View Tools.

Tool Boxes

To display the CAD Toolbars select CAD > Tools > Tool Boxes.
