Bentley recently discovered an issue with the way the BIM V8.1 Competitive Upgrade licensing is handled by Bentley Architecture and Bentley HVAC. Using the current commercial release, Bentley Architecture version 08.01.01.15 and Bentley HVAC version 08.01.01.05, an evaluation license warning is displayed when closing the application.
Bentley has addressed this issue for its BIM clients with a new build: Bentley Architecture version 08.01.01.17 and HVAC version 08.01.01.06. This updated version is currently available at http://appsnet.bentley.com/downloads/ for those experiencing this issue.
