The Solution Search page is displayed with the simple text search option as the default.

Enter some simple text then click the Submit button to query for applicable Solution Sets.
For a more detailed search, choose the Advanced Search option which allows you to include and/or exclude specific attributes.

- Application Area = Keyword
- Location Code = Product Version Number
- Validation Category = Product Name
Attribuets that are not used in the search query include:
- Problem Type = NOT USED
- Problem Subtype = NOT USED
- Solution Type = NOT USED
- Solution Subtype = NOT USED
- Location Code Group = NOT USED
Once your search criteria is set, click the Search button.
Applicable solutions are displayed according to relevance and are shown as hyperlinks that link to an individual solution.
Note: The links are built using the first 40 characters of the problem and the first 40 characters of the solution separated by a dash.

Individual Solution Sets can then be viewed by drilling into a single search result.
When the user drills into a solution from the list, the following will be displayed as the individual Solution Set:
- Solution subject
- Problem (description)
- Solution ID
- Solution description
The solution will include links to any attachments, if included.

From the individual Solution Set view, there are many options available to you.
- Print - Printer friendly version of the solution.
- E-Mail - email the Solution Set to another user. The email includes To: and CC: fields and is pre-populated with the solution subject and description. You can also insert comments for the email recipient.
- Feedback - click the dropdown arrow to enter feedback and then click the Submit button to rate the Solution Set and submit comments. The solution relevance is set using the collected feedback data.
- My Solutions (link) - This acts as a favorites list for quick reference of solutions that you may refer to often. You can click on the Delete button to remove solutions from the My Solutions view.
End process.
